Unlike conventional reed holders, the Reed Pro allows reeds to dry evenly to prevent warping.
Reeds are held in place with Equa-Foam™, a technology which holds all areas of the reed flat while air circulates and reed moisture levels equalize (reach equilibrium with the relative humidity in its case). With Equa-Foam, the reed remains flat and dries without warping, increasing the life of your reed.

The Reed Pro comes with a cylindrical outer case that allows you to control the moisture level, as well as 2 grades of pre-cut self-adhesive sandpaper for adjusting. The Reed Pro mini does not come with a cylindrical case.
